Andrew Steer is the company's founder and lead consultant.

Andrew has considerable experience in commercial banking and finance having taken roles at Swiss Bank Corporation, Friends Provident, Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Bank and HSBC UK spanning a 30+ year career. During this time Andrew has held a number of senior leadership roles, most recently and for the last decade, as the Head of Business Banking for Surrey and Sussex, leading the HSBC UK Relationship Management Teams across both counties supporting  over 2,000 SME clients with their day to day operations, organic or acquisitive growth and funding needs.

Andrew has a unique insight into the commercial workings of businesses operating in the SME market enabling him to give impartial and trusted advice to his clients.

Andrew delivers strategic financial reviews, including future business planning and identifying growth opportunities; advising on working capital & cash flow management; identifying new international opportunities and structuring trade finance; negotiating in funding mergers, acquisitions & disposals; reviewing the business sales & marketing optimisation and successfully implementing the change plan.

Andrew has a strong professional network and is involved in the Gatwick Diamond Business; both the Surrey and Sussex Chambers of Commerce where he has been a guest speaker and panelist; he is also a committee member of the Gatwick Diamond Promote Initiative; and sits on the Grant Assessment Panel for the Coast to Capital LEP.
